"J’ai vu des choses que j’ai imaginées"" (in English: I saw things I Imagined) marks Rachel Marsil’s first solo presentation in Nigeria and the second exhibition in FF Projects’ year-long residency at Alara. Rachel Marsil (b. 1995, Lille, France) is a Paris-based artist whose practice spans textile, painting, drawing, and installation. Marsil holds a degree in textile design from the École Nationale des Arts Décoratifs Paris. Her work delves into questions of identity and representation, particularly exploring Afro-European culture and the black body."
